Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) GRACE House

Responsibilities

- Provide counseling services to individuals with substance use disorders. - Work within the OASAS treatment system, focusing on case management. - Demonstrate understanding and empathy towards the SUD and mental health population. - Exhibit exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational, and computer skills. - Possess assessment and evaluation skills. - Maintain flexibility and multi-tasking abilities. - Hold a valid NYS Driver's License and travel among sites as needed.

Requirements

- Current, valid CASAC Credential. - Three years' experience working within the OASAS treatment system. - Case management experience required. - Knowledge of and experience with OASAS regulations. - Demonstrated understanding and empathy for the SUD and mental health population. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and computer skills. - Ability to assess and evaluate effectively. - Flexibility and multi-tasking capabilities. - Valid NYS Driver's License.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field. - Three years of relevant experience. - Current, valid CASAC Credential.

Pay

- Grade 14 hourly: $28.08 - $33.71 - Full-time benefits including health insurance and more. - Flexible hours. - Paid holidays, vacation days, sick days, personal days, and more. - 401k contributions matched up to 3.5%.

Schedule

- Full-time, 40 hours per week. - Sunday: 9a-5p - Monday - Thursday: 8a-4p
