Creative Play Volunteer – Support Young Parents & Kids at YPN

Do you have a big heart and a vivid imagination? Love spending time with kids and helping them explore the world? YPN is looking for volunteers to be the sidekick to a young child!

YPN hosts prenatal and parenting group meetings on Thursday evenings from 5:30–7:30 PM, year-round, with on-site childcare for children ages 0–5. This role is flexible, perfect for anyone looking to make a meaningful impact in a way that fits their schedule.

We especially welcome bilingual volunteers, as YPN serves Hispanic, African, and Afghan families who may speak limited or no English.

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Engage and support children in a safe, nurturing environment
• P practice hand hygiene at all entrances/exits and between sessions

Requirements

• Volunteers must complete an application, interview, and background check
• Must be 15 years or older to volunteer independently
