About the role
The Development Director will serve as a key strategic partner to the Executive Director, leading contributed revenue strategy across major gifts, institutional giving, sponsorships, campaigns, special events, and donor stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive contributed revenue strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission and goals.
- Lead the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors, including individuals, foundations, and corporations.
- Manage and grow the organization’s corporate partnerships and sponsorships program.
- Plan and execute special events to raise funds and engage supporters.
- Oversee the development and implementation of donor stewardship programs to deepen relationships with current supporters.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on fundraising initiatives and strategies.
- Contribute to the overall strategic planning and vision of the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, fundraising, marketing, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in fundraising, preferably within the disability arts and culture sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing major gift programs, including individual and foundation giving.
- Experience in event planning and execution, including special events and campaigns.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of nonprofit financial management and compliance requirements.

Pay
$140,000 - $150,000 annually.
