About the role

The Design / Product / Creative / Innovation Team is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the end-to-end design lifecycle, blending technology, functionality, and human-centered design principles. This role requires a deep understanding of UI/UX design, strategic innovation, and AI integration.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Design Leadership: Own the full design lifecycle, from ideation and research to prototype development and final delivery, ensuring designs are user-centric and aligned with business and clinical needs.
  • Collaborative Design Process: Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketers, to co-create innovative and viable design solutions that deliver value at scale.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Apply design thinking and systems thinking methodologies to solve complex challenges and deliver high-impact, sustainable solutions that bridge the gap between design and technology.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Develop POCs, digital mockups, wireframes, and interactive models to bring ideas to life and conduct iterative testing to refine and validate design concepts.
  • Design Documentation & Communication: Create high-quality visual and design documentation to clearly communicate concepts, design systems, and user flows to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity and buy-in.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in design critique sessions, contribute to team growth, and integrate feedback from real-world testing and user insights into iterative design cycles.
  • Social Media & Innovation Platforms: Lead and contribute to the strategic curation and daily management of our digital presence across digital platforms. Develop and publish high-impact content that communicates our design philosophy, showcases emerging technologies, celebrates cross-disciplinary innovation, and amplifies institutional achievements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design from a reputed institution like the National Institute of Design (NID)
  • 1-2 years of experience: in a design role, preferably within a cross-disciplinary environment or working on complex systems, healthcare, or technology products
  • A strong portfolio: that showcases a diverse range of design work, including digital and physical products, service design, user research, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills: with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, visual, and engaging way
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively: with a strong sense of initiative and accountability for the design process and outcomes

Skills & Tools

  • Prototyping & Design Tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), SolidWorks, Rhino, KeyShot, CLO 3D (depending on specialization)
  • UX/UI Design Tools: Wireframing, Interaction Design, User Flows, Journey Mapping, Service Design Blueprints
  • Research Methods: Contextual Research, Ethnographic Studies, Usability Testing, Market Studies, Competitor Analysis
  • Design Methodologies: Human-Centered Design, Design Thinking, Agile and Lean Design Practices, Systems Thinking

Qualifications
