Creative Design and Research Co-op/Intern - Spring 2027

About the role

Seeking creative design and research interns for a spring co‑op/internship program in various departments. Positions are located in Torrance, CA and Raymond, OH.

Responsibilities

• Create business cases for new physical or digital products and services, collaborating with business analytics teams.
• Support styling teams with concept materials, sketches, color, graphics, and material proposals.
• Assist with user experience (UX), user interface (UI) graphics, animations, and storytelling to develop vehicle or parts concepts.
• Participate in meetings, work with internal teams, and research industry trends and future customer preferences.

Qualifications & Skills

• Major coursework in relevant fields such as Product Design, Transportation Design, UX, or Interaction Design.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA, class standing as sophomore or above, and enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program.
• Ability to work at least 10 weeks, 40 hours/week, and secure transportation to work.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License (exceptions considered) and reliable transportation plan.

Pay

Hourly wage ranges from $26.58 to $34.38, based on experience and location.

Schedule

Minimum commitment of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week.
