Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop and implement a complete Creative Arts Program (including theme-based, meaningful projects)Create a free and safe space for children to create and be successfulTeach participants between the ages of 8 and 12 to new techniques as well as an appreciation of music and danceOrganize and maintain creative arts facility and equipment including complete safety checksTrain and supervise all instructorsMaintain all equipment and inspection of the premises and equipmentPrepare creative art building and supplies for each week’s programmingComplete a post-summer written report with detailed description of inventory, purchase recommendations, replacement needs CREATIVE ARTS INSTRUCTOR The Creative Arts Instructor is responsible to aid in implementation and oversight of the creative art program, help encourage, support, participants and staff concerning the program.
