Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Creamery Operations
- Maintain optimal product freshness and availability
- Monitor food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
- Forecast and coordinate inventory levels and waste control
- Safeguard equipment functionality, product storage, and workspace organization
- Implement visual merchandising strategies
- Ensure exceptional customer service
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and quickly
- Monitor customer preferences and sales trends
- Promote a customer-centric environment
- Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate student and full-time employees
- Facilitate regular team meetings, goal-setting sessions, and hands-on training
- Support internal promotion and identify leadership among staff
- Cookstaff scheduling to ensure consistent leadership coverage
Qualifications
- A firm commitment to the Mission of BYU
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
- 5 years of food service experience with at least 3 years of supervisory experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
- 7+ years of food service experience with at least 3 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of collegiate dining experience

Pay
The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
