Responsibilities

• Manage Daily Creamery Operations
• Maintain optimal product freshness and availability
• Monitor food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
• Forecast and coordinate inventory levels and waste control
• Safeguard equipment functionality, product storage, and workspace organization
• Implement visual merchandising strategies
• Ensure exceptional customer service
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and quickly
• Monitor customer preferences and sales trends
• Promote a customer-centric environment
• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate student and full-time employees
• Facilitate regular team meetings, goal-setting sessions, and hands-on training
• Support internal promotion and identify leadership among staff
• Cookstaff scheduling to ensure consistent leadership coverage

Qualifications

• A firm commitment to the Mission of BYU
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
• 5 years of food service experience with at least 3 years of supervisory experience
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
• 7+ years of food service experience with at least 3 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of collegiate dining experience

Pay

The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
