CRE Relationship Manager Sr

Job Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships to generate direct deal flow
• Captures deal flow from assigned portfolio managers and engages with sponsors and borrowers on relevant opportunities
• Ensures pro-active monitoring of the credit quality of the portfolio through timely financial statement gathering, monitoring client’s compliance with required reporting, and analyzing financial information
• Makes decisions independently to manage the bank's risk exposure to acceptable levels
• Collaborates with Credit team and outside counsel to prepare credit approval documents and manage onboarding process
• Stays updated on industry trends and market conditions that could impact the assigned portfolio of relationships and borrowers
• Uses independent judgement and discretion to resolve problems
• May mentor and assist less experienced Relationship Managers

Job Requirements

• Education: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in business, finance or related field
• Experience: 10+ Years of experience as a Commercial Lending Relationship Manager and/or commercial lending sales

Preferred Qualifications

• Credit training preferred
