The position is located in Alexandria, Virginia and surrounding areas. Work environment: regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, occasional fumes or airborne particles and vibration, loud noise levels; requires wearing PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, ankle‑supporting safety‑toed work boots, safety vest). Physical demands: extensive moving or positioning heavy weighted materials (up to 50 lbs.), traversing irregular and steep terrain, responding quickly to sounds, bending, stooping, ascending/descending to reach materials or enter heavy equipment, communicating information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Safely and skillfully operate various types of cranes, including but not limited to lattice boom crawlers and hydraulic boom crawlers
• Maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventative maintenance and repair tasks.
• Perform tasks in a safe and accident‑free manner.

Requirements

• Three years of experience required
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving history
• Experience operating various types of cranes.
• Applicant must be able to pass drug test.
• Pile diving experience is a must.
• Must provide own safety footwear.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Schedule

Saturdays are required periodically as needed.
