Florida Atlantic Ironworks is seeking a passionate and skilled Crane Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Full Time Crane Operator, you will have the opportunity to work onsite at exciting projects, contributing to the construction of remarkable structures that shape the landscape of Orlando.

Day to day responsibilities

• Conduct thorough equipment inspections each day to ensure optimal working condition
• Operate and maneuver the crane with precision and safety in mind
• Lift and move heavy loads, carefully following instructions from supervisors
• Communicate effectively with the team on the ground
• Handle different materials and navigate various construction sites
• Collaborate with a team of professionals who share your passion for excellence and safety

Requirements

• Strong understanding of crane operations, including knowledge of rigging, load capacity, and safety protocols
• Ability to interpret blueprints and construction plans
• 5 years experience or more
• Must have CDL
• Must have NCCO certification for small and large Hydro's swing cab
• TLL certification is required
• LAT and TSS is a plus
• Must be fluent in English
• Proficiency in operating crane control systems and computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Keen eye for detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Physical stamina and strength for working with heavy loads and long hours operating the crane
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with the team and following instructions

Schedule

Monday-Friday schedule, with some weekends.
