Job Description Roles& Responsibilities:Physical:Safety/Environmental: Qualification Guidelines:Job assignments may require a background check.Basic rigging skills.Education/Certifications:Validdriver licenseValidNCCCO or NCCER CertificationCDL license preferredMust hold a valid Medical Examiner CardMust comply with STARCON’s drug andalcohol policy.Able to pass physical examination, ifrequired.Able toclimb towers through ladder cages, climb stairways carrying 20lbs of tools and/ormaterials, work from scaffolding at elevated heights, work in towers andvessels, work in excavations, extended hours on your feet on un-even worksurfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel) Must be able to pass applicablesite-specific training. Knowledge ofrefinery and chemical plant hazards which may requirespecial precautions and PPE, such as Sulfuric, H2S and HF.Mustundertake the appropriate safety/environmental training commensurate with theposition and location.CPR and1st Aid training and certification, when required.Must be able to read and understandsafety instructions, signs, labels and permits in English.
