Crane and Hoist Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage teams or subcontractors
• Travel extensively (75%) to jobsites and office locations for preconstruction budgeting, vendor meetings, conferences, and other business development functions
• Communicate with executives within Brasfield & Gorrie and other companies
• Create and present department strategic initiatives to company management
• Evaluate current crane/hoist processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain an understanding of crane and hoist department operations
• Understand and enforce general industry safety standards
• Manage lift planning processes
• Develop strategic relationships internally and externally
• Identify industry trends that may impact Brasfield & Gorrie

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the crane industry, including operations or service experience
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Professionalism and ability to make excellent first impressions
• Experience managing a team of direct reports
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer service mindset
• Contract management experience
• Ability to leverage resources to solve problems
