Craftsmen/ Carpenter

About the role

A timber frame company in Alexandria, MN is seeking a craftsman with a strong work ethic, who is a self-starter, and works well with others. While experience in conventional framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, or wood working skills is preferred, it is not required. The ideal candidate should be able to lift at least 50 lbs and operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and tools as needed
• Lift and move materials as required
• Work collaboratively with other team members
• Perform tasks within the shop environment

Requirements

• Strong work ethic
• Self-starter with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Knowledge of conventional framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, or wood working skills (preferred)
• Experience operating a forklift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
