About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative 3D Designer to join our dynamic team at Highway 85 Creative. As a 3D Designer, you will play a crucial role in bringing our clients’ visions to life through innovative and visually captivating 3D designs. The day-to-day of the 3D Designer is to work with our design and sales teams to gather a client’s vision, develop a strategy that will meet their needs while exceeding their expectations, and create an attractive and compelling visualization. This candidate will be able to demonstrate facility with the industry-standard computer-based design workflow: sketching, modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and assembling a final presentation.

Responsibilities

• On time, on spec, on budget fabrication.
• Fabricate, laminate, assemble, and fit check construction of standard and custom elements.
• Absorb and assist in the training and development of junior shop assistants.
• Absorb and assist in the development of prototypes, fabrication methods, and materials.
• Inspect and provide general maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work station and overall shop environment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of wood-working tools.
• Unwavering attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Understanding of cabinet installation.
• Basics of sanding and laminating.
• Ability to learn and adapt to team dynamics.

Qualifications

• Previous woodworking experience 3-5 years.
