Ace Handyman Services franchise serving McHenry and Lake Counties is seeking highly motivated, multi-skilled Craftsmen and Craftswomen committed to quality work and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of home repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks across multiple trades (plumbing, carpentry, tile, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, decks).
• Troubleshoot problems and develop prompt, professional solutions.
• Communicate effectively with management, office personnel, fellow employees, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, and commercial customers.
• Assess properties for additional repair opportunities and communicate these to customers to earn their confidence and secure further work.
• Maintain punctuality, efficiency, and high integrity while striving for top customer satisfaction.
• Exceed customer expectations and contribute as an integral part of a winning team.
• Manage job sites independently, interacting directly with homeowners and property managers to suggest safety and improvement work.

Requirements

• Good overall knowledge of multiple trades (plumbing, carpentry, tile, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, decks).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Presentable, clean-cut appearance.
• Decent-looking vehicle and organized tools.
• Ability to identify and communicate additional repair opportunities to customers.
• Punctuality, efficiency, and high personal integrity.
• Desire to exceed customer expectations and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay

$28.00 per hour, with performance bonuses and vacation pay.
