Craft Spirits Specialist- Central New Jersey

Role & Responsibility

• Work in your territory of accounts to increase sales of Fedway Craft Spirits Portfolio
• Report on market trends and hot craft categories
• Conduct monthly supplier and sales rep work-withs to secure placements of Craft Portfolio items
• Train/Educate staff within your account territory on Craft Portfolio items and best selling practices
• Merchandise your accounts with appropriate POS such as shelf talkers, bottle glorifiers, barware, etc. to increase product exposure to account clientele
• Aid On-Premise accounts with development of cocktail menus and secure placements of Craft Portfolio items
• Daily Reporting of account visits, product presentations, sales rep/supplier work-withs, and coordinated dinners/events
• Achieve Monthly Craft Goals tracked in Program Advisor
• Attend GSM presentations and assist suppliers in after meeting tastings to increase sales rep awareness
• Afford Evening events and limited overnight travel

Required Skills

• Proven experience in spirits sales or related field
• Strong understanding of the craft spirits market
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets
• Familiarity with Central New Jersey markets

Education, Certifications And /or Licenses

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed

Physical Demands

• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 40lbs

Compensation

• Salary starts at $66,000/annually commensurate with experience
• Monthly bonus opportunity
• This position is eligible for a company car
