Craft Construction Recruiter

About the Role

CDM Smith is seeking a Craft Construction Recruiter to join our Corporate Recruiting Team, supporting our CDM Constructors, Inc. Group. The role involves identifying and attracting candidates, partnering with hiring managers, and managing the full life-cycle recruiting process.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and attracts candidates to meet the firm’s hiring needs.
• Partners with hiring managers to deliver high-quality candidates for immediate and future needs.
• Conducts proactive research and applies innovative strategies for full life-cycle recruiting.
• Participates in or oversees small to medium-sized recruitment programs (e.g., College Recruitment Program, Reboot Program, Referral Program).
• Communicates with candidates, reviews resumes, prescreens applicants, and ensures timely feedback throughout the process.
• Extends offers of employment under the direction of hiring managers and within firm policies.
• Develops and maintains recruiting relationships with supported groups or colleges for entry-level hiring.
• Improves recruiting events and enhances the firm’s name recognition.
• Maintains a pipeline of active, passive, and diverse candidates using technology, research, networking, and direct sourcing.
• Ensures accurate records and prepares tracking reports on recruitment processes.
• Oversees Cooperative Education and Student Intern programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2 years of related experience (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required (10% or less).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume recruiting, onsite construction recruiting, and staffing agency environments is strongly preferred.

Pay

Pay Range: USD $71,469.00 - $117,915.00. Salary is determined by factors including geographic location, role, responsibilities, experience, skills, certifications, and education/training.
