Craft Bartender-Westin RDU/Brier Creek

Job Description

Responsible for providing timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests.

• Making and serving drinks
• Cleaning of tables and bar area
• Maintaining storage room where alcohol is kept and keeping inventory levels
• Restocking items when necessary
• Mixing ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar & bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
• Displaying knowledge of all menu items, contents and preparation methods

Job Requirements

• Previous bartending or training required
• Must be 21 years of age
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
• Knowledge of the Micros operating system a plus
• Having working knowledge of beer, wine & liquor and common drink recipes
• Able to lift, pull and push moderate weight is necessary, up to 40lbs
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Clean background check, and reliable transportation a must
• Possess excellent guest service and communication skills
• Open Availability - This would include evening and weekends
• 1-2 Years experience at making craft cocktails
• Bar Lead experience would be a plus
