CQI Coordinator
Primary Function
The Department of Psychology at the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Northern Illinois University (NIU), invites applications for the position of Continuous Quality Improvement Coordinator with the Intensive Placement Stabilization (IPS) Team. Under the leadership of the Deputy of the Office of Research and Child Well-Being, the Intensive Placement Stabilization (IPS) Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Coordinator reports to the IPS Manager. The CQI Coordinator leads the design and management of CQI systems that monitor program and organizational fidelity, effectiveness, and equity. This role ensures that IPS interventions continuously improve by integrating data, feedback, and lived experience into decision-making and system adaptation.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, public administration or related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in child welfare or related fields, including experience providing program evaluation, quality improvement, or data-driven program management.
Background Check
This is a security-sensitive position. Before any offer of employment is made, the University and IDCFS will conduct a pre-employment background check, which includes finger printing, state police check, FBI, and child abuse and neglect (CANTS) background check.
