Responsibilities

• Lead all project quality control activities in accordance with USACE, EM 385-1-1, and contract requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Control Plan (QCP) and associated documentation.
• Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections for all Definable Features of Work (DFOW).
• Manage submittals, RFIs, material certifications, testing reports, and project quality records.
• Verify construction activities comply with plans, specifications, approved submittals, and federal standards.
• Cover coordination and documentation of quality testing, inspections, commissioning, and deficiency resolution.
• Lead weekly QC meetings with project staff, subcontractors, and USACE representatives.
• Prepare and submit daily quality control reports utilizing RMS and other required government platforms.
• Maintain oversight of subcontractor performance and enforce compliance with project quality standards and contract requirements.

Essential Skills

• Current USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM-C) certification.
• Strong knowledge of federal construction procedures and documentation.
• Proficiency with RMS and blueprint reading.
• Demonstrated experience managing three-phase inspections and project closeout activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction quality control experience on federal projects (USACE, NAVFAC, GSA, DoD).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cape Canaveral, FL.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
