Responsibilities
- Background with BI tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP.
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI, optimizing for performance and scalability to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Connect Power BI to diverse data sources (SQL databases, SharePoint, Excel, MS365 tools) and develop/maintain ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Work closely with business units to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and provide training/support to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices.
- Leverage MS365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate) to enhance Power BI functionality, streamline data processes, and create a unified data ecosystem.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, developing predictive/prescriptive analytics models to support strategic decision-making and providing regular updates to leadership.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Power BI solutions, establish and enforce best practices (naming conventions, version control, data governance), and stay current with the latest Power BI and MS365 advancements.
- Create, test, and deploy Power BI scripts, as well as execute efficient deep analysis.
- Use Power BI to run queries and functions.
- Create charts and data documentation with explanations of algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships.
- Construct a data warehouse.
- Make technological adjustments to current BI systems to improve their performance.
- For a better understanding of the data, use filters and visualizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis on Data Analytics or Statistics.
- Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience.
