Coventry - Home Health Companions Caregivers ILST ( Life Skills Training ) PCA

About the role

You will be helping clients that are recovering from brain injuries. These clients live alone or with family. You will be helping the client with every aspect of regular life.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and attend medical and therapeutic appointments
• Implement recovery activities within the home community
• Document on a daily basis
• Communicate with many people
• Support clients with safety, organization, medication reminders, social entertainment, finding meaningful employment, money management skills, and social skills

Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• One / Two years of health care experience
• Super time management and organizational skills
• Smart-Phone and Tablet Skills
• Pre-employment Background Checks and Drug Screening
• Experience helping people recovering from: Strokes, Concussions and/or brain injury
• Worked within community settings

Team members support clients with: Safety Organization skills Medical and therapeutic rehab homework. Medication reminders Social entertainment Finding meaningful employment Money management skills. Social skills and much more.
