Covenant Children's Hospital - Full-Time Pediatric CRNA
About the role
The ideal candidate will provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for pediatric patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. This role requires expertise in pediatric physiology, pharmacology, and airway management, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for pediatric patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Manage airway and monitor pediatric patients during procedures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case conferences.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in at least one state.
- At least 3 years of experience in pediatric anesthesia.
- Experience with neonatal anesthesia preferred.
- Knowledge of pediatric physiology, pharmacology, and airway management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current certification as a CRNA.
- Current CPR certification.
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
