About the role

The Cart Attendant's role at El Rancho Supermercado is to assist and support the Operations Department by performing a wide number of important duties for the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service.
• Ensure carts are available and in working conditions.
• Aid sales associates, stock workers, and other store employees.
• Assist customers with carryout.
• Clean front areas.
• Clean any spills throughout the store.
• Assist with go-backs and support cashiers as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions

• Sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
• Regularly required to use vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• The work environment is that typical of an office and retail store.
• The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
