Responsibilities

• Put purchased groceries into bags for customers.
• Assist customers to their vehicles when needed, providing courteous and respectful service without receiving a tip.
• Work quickly and carefully, packing bags to maximize space without overloading or damaging produce or soft items.
• Bring in carts when cart flow is low, regardless of weather conditions (rain, snow, extreme heat, or sub-zero temperatures).
• Stay informed about the weather to prepare appropriately for work.
• May perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense of details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling products or using equipment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
• The work environment is typical of a retail store with noise levels ranging from quiet to loud.
• Minimal sitting is required.

Pay

The pay scale for this position is $15.40 – $20.10 per hour. Individual pay within this range is determined by location and other factors including specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
