About the Role

Courtesy Clerks help put purchased groceries into bags for customers. Some customers may need assistance to their vehicle; you will be cordial and respectful, providing excellent customer service without receiving a tip. Baggers must be quick and careful, ensuring bags are packed to maximize space without overloading or damaging produce or soft items. You will also be responsible for bringing in carts when the cart flow is low, regardless of weather conditions—rain, snow, extreme heat, or sub-zero temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries efficiently and carefully, ensuring items are not damaged.
• Assist customers to their vehicles with purchased groceries.
• Bring in shopping carts from the parking lot, regardless of weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

• Highly organized with a keen sense of detail.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
• Work environment is typical of a retail store, with noise levels ranging from quiet to loud.
• Minimal sitting is required.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $15.00 - $20.10. Individual pay is determined by location and factors such as specific skills, relevant work experience, and education/training.

Schedule

Store hours of operation are 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM, seven days a week.
