About the role

As a Courtesy Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market, you will serve as a customer service ambassador, providing inviting experiences where shoppers and team members are inspired to make healthier choices. You’ll handle and bag groceries while delivering extraordinary customer service, assist customers in finding products, gather carts, and maintain store cleanliness. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to grow their career within the company.

Many team members start their careers in this role and are promoted to other positions throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Properly handle and bag shoppers’ groceries with a focus on customer service
• Assist customers in locating products throughout the store
• Gather carts from outdoor areas
• Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping and addressing spills
• Follow all Front End procedures and collaborate with other team members
• Represent Sprouts as the face of the company to customers

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Dependable and reliable
• Outgoing and friendly behavior
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that adjusts with business needs
