About the role

The Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in the daily operations of the Flag Football program. The primary focus is on individual player development, assisting with drills, and providing positive reinforcement.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Coach with organizational meetings for team prospects and encourage potential athletes to participate.
  • Organize practice schedules to ensure the best use of time, facilities, and staff personnel for the benefit of the individual, participant, and teams as directed by the Head Coach.
  • Emphasize safety precautions to prevent injuries.
  • Always assist with proper supervision of student athletes during daily team practices/contests and lead specific position drills as directed by the Head Coach.
