Court Visitor (ACS Contract - Multiple Vacancies)

Job Description

The Alaska Court System is accepting applications from compassionate individuals to become Court Visitors in Anchorage, Kenai or Palmer. The ability to travel within Alaska is required, but planned. Experience working with rural Alaska communities or knowledge of the unique challenges and opportunities of rural Alaska is preferred.

Pay

The starting hourly rate of pay is $45.00. After one year of successful employment, the rate of pay may increase to $50.00 per hour. Scheduled hours will vary by caseload.

Benefits

These are full-time contracted positions with no benefits.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or other related medical or mental health field preferred; or business or legal degree with experience/knowledge in the health and social services field. Work experience in the above fields can be substituted for the Bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
