Court Security Deputies (Part-time)

About the role

SouthWest Transit is seeking an experienced individual to work second shift as a Medium & Heavy Bus/Truck Vehicle Maintenance Technician in Transit bus fleet maintenance at their Eden Prairie facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on buses and trucks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues related to diesel engines and other components
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to quality control standards
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years experience in diesel heavy truck/bus maintenance and repair
• ASE certifications are desirable

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Skills

• Proficiency in diesel engine diagnostics
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
