Position Summary Information
The purpose of this position is to assist instructors with dictation of question-and-answer scenarios at various speeds. The position will aid the instructor with marking, preparing, and dictating scripts to promote the learning experience for court reporting students.
- Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Ability to accurately and convincingly maintain a specified character as trained.
- Ability to work flexible hours on a scheduled on-call basis.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and follow directions and incorporate trainer feedback.
- Experience with software programs and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Complete assignments accurately and with attention to detail.

Job Duties
- Read/dictates a case script detailing specific emotion and accuracy for presentation during simulated learning situations. Aids in marking, preparing, and dictating scripts during simulated learning situations.
- Presents case information in a standardized manner.
- Remains in a specific patient character as trained.
- Participates in training and/or mentorship.
- Maintains confidentiality of information related to cases, student behaviors and feedback evaluations.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
