Court Maintenance

Essential Job Functions

• Cleanliness of the courts, facility, and equipment daily
• Preventive maintenance
• Refurbishing clay
• Repair of irrigation (sprinklers)
• Daily operating procedures for the clay courts, including sweeping, lining, watering, filling water, and emptying trashcans
• Working closely with the pro shop staff on all court maintenance activities
• Cleanliness of indoor racquetball courts, mini golf, outdoor volleyball, shuffleboard, and basketball

Requirements

• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
• Handle other duties and projects as assigned by Manager

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• One to three months related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Demands

• Mainly outdoors
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day
• Sitting may be required the rest of the working day
• Lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity
• Must be able to operate golf cart and court equipment

• Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment
• Communicate with others, effectively deal with customers, and accept constructive criticism from supervisors
• Change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
