About the role
The Court Coordinator - Mental Health and Women of Wellness (WOW) Courts manages the daily operations of our Mental Health and WOW Courts. This role coordinates participants, court staff, and treatment providers, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Maintain participant files, track compliance, prepare court documents, and assist the Judge during sessions.
- Serve as a liaison among participants, the judiciary, treatment providers, and community partners.
- Manage databases, generate reports, and provide general administrative assistance.
- Offer empathetic support and connect participants with essential community resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in a court, social services, or case management setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice).
- Experience with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
- Knowledge of treatment court models and best practices.
