About the role
The Court Access Attorney is a full-time role based in Harrisburg, PA, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows two days of telework per week. This attorney will focus on improving access to the court system by assisting in the development and review of forms, self-help materials, and policies that support litigants and court users.
Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research
- Analyzing laws and court rules related to access to justice
- Preparing clear, accessible legal documents and guidance materials
- Collaborating with judges, court staff, and partner organizations to identify barriers to court access and propose practical solutions
- Providing training, technical assistance, and outreach to internal and external stakeholders to promote consistent, user-friendly court practices across Pennsylvania
Qualifications
- Graduation from an ABA-approved law school
- Admission to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania
- Two years of progressively responsible legal experience
