Courier - UMMC Batavia - Materials Management (Full-Time, Days)

Responsibilities

• Maintains work areas in a safe, sanitary and orderly manner, demonstrating proper equipment use and sanitation techniques.
• Obeys all applicable laws and regulations dealing with operation of vehicle and DOT regulations.
• Reports all incidents, damage, accidents immediately to manager or supervisor.
• Ensures US Mail is picked up daily and delivered to the mail room for RRH’s departments/affiliates.
• Facilitates delivery requests in regards to pharmaceutical supplies and or drugs.
• Handles and delivers medical equipment for clinical technologies to the off sites.
• Manages cash bags and receipts for the Finance departments as well as Off-sites and Living Centers as well as cashing checks and making deposits as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years of prior courier/delivery experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to be flexible.
• Able to read and comprehend directions.
• Knowledge of all locals roads and major roads and major landmarks in the surrounding area.
• Able to read and write English and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• NYS DL - valid New York State Driver's License - New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV).

Physical Requirements

• M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

Pay

• The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
