Courier/Swing Drvr/DOT
About the role
Tues to Sat 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Operates company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages, checks shipments for compliance with FedEx service standards, and provides coverage for assigned routes within the station’s service area. Performs related customer service functions as needed.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Six (6) months courier experience preferred
- Must demonstrate area knowledge
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must meet and maintain qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the station's service area preferred
- Adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
Job Conditions
- Neat appearance due to customer contact
- Maintain qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
