About the role
Operates company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages, checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service, provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area, and performs related customer service functions.

Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED
- Minimum Experience: Six (6) months courier experience preferred
- Area Knowledge: Demonstrated skills preferred
- Lifting Capacity: Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs
- Communication Skills: Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
- Adaptability: Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
- Age: At least 21 years old
- Language: Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions
Qualifications
- Medical Exam: Required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements for type of vehicle assigned and good driving record as outlined in policy
- Appearance: Neat appearance since customer contact is required
- Medical Exam: Required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Driving Record: Good driving record as outlined in policy
Preferred Qualifications
- Pay: Starting at $24.81/hr
