About the role

Operates company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages, checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service features, covers all assigned routes within the station’s service area, and performs related customer service functions, with additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for delivery and pick‑up of packages
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
• Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
• Perform related customer service functions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license per state requirements for the assigned vehicle type and a good driving record (per company policy)
• Minimum six months of courier experience (preferred)
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to lift 50 lb; maneuver packages over 50 lb using appropriate equipment or assistance
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries per FMCSA guidance
• Maintain a neat appearance (customer contact required)
• Meet and maintain qualifications outlined in Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely
