Courier - PD

Job Summary

Transports materials throughout designated areas in a safe and timely manner. Maintains a clean driving record and follows all New Jersey driving laws. Responsible for reprocessing all returned equipment.

Position Responsibilities

• Delivery and pick up patient care items for Care at Home programs.
• Updates the courier log to ensure all proper records are accurately documented and maintained.
• Drives Vehicle Safely at all times, maintaining a clean driving record.
• Captures and communicates any potential delays with care team and patients.
• Maintains a clean vehicle and inspects their vehicle daily to ensure that the vehicle is in proper working order.
• Reprocesses equipment to ensure all infection control policies around cleaning, disinfection, and supply equipment management are followed.
• Troubleshoots issues with malfunctioning equipment to minimize downtime.
• Adheres to policies and procedure of the organization including HIPPA, infection prevention standards.

Position Qualifications Required

• Required Experience:
• 2 years driving experience.
• Ability to lift and carry packages as needed.
• Knowledge of patient care equipment.
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
• Good time management skills.
• Required Education:
• A High School degree or equivalent.

Pay

The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
