About the role
Driver/operator of company vehicles, providing courteous and efficient delivery of packages and related customer service functions.
Schedule
- AM sort: start at 06:30 Monday or 07:00 Saturday
- PM sort: start at 16:00, end by 20:00
- Weekly hours: approximately 20–24 hours
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma or GED
- Minimum experience: None
- Age: At least 21 years
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- Neat appearance since customer contact may be required
Pay
- Total Base Pay Range: $21.05 – $31.26 USD per hour
