About the role

Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service features and provides related customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Verify shipments meet FedEx service standards.
• Provide customer service related to shipments.
• Operate company vehicles that are not subject to FMCSA §391 regulations.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum experience: None.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lb using appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human‑relations and communication skills.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries in accordance with FMCSA guidance.

Job Conditions

• Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position.
• Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Must maintain constant alertness and work safely.

Pay

Hourly rate: $22.10 USD.

Part‑time schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
