FTE: 0.001 | Shift: Days | Schedule: On‑call schedule, morning coverage. Shifts start as early as 6:00 am, Monday‑Friday.

About the role

The Laboratory Courier is an excellent opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for the collection and distribution of specimens from patient locations to the laboratory, distribution of internal mail, picking up and delivering external mail, supplies, printed materials, and equipment among patient and laboratory locations.

Responsibilities

• Collect and distribute specimens from patient locations to the laboratory.
• Distribute internal mail throughout the facility.
• Pick up and deliver external mail, supplies, printed materials, and equipment.
• Transport items among patient care areas and laboratory locations.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current Washington state driver’s license.
• Laboratory experience preferred.
• Proof of a safe driving record that meets MultiCare standards, obtained via a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state.

Pay

The pay scale for this position is $21.76 – $33.11 USD. Compensation is influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience, certifications and education. If the position is covered by a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the union pay scale based on experience.
