Courier Full-time

About the Role

Transports materials throughout designated areas in a safe and timely manner. Maintains a clean driving record and follows all New Jersey driving laws. Responsible for reprocessing all returned equipment.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and pick up of patient care items for Care at Home programs.
• Updates the courier log to ensure all proper records are accurately documented and maintained.
• Drives vehicle safely at all times, maintaining a clean driving record.
• Coordinates with care team to create optimal schedules and routes for meeting department objectives.
• Communicates any potential delays with care team and patients.
• Must supply own vehicle; maintains a clean vehicle and inspects it daily to ensure proper working order.
• Reprocesses equipment to follow all infection control policies around cleaning, disinfection, and supply equipment management.
• Troubleshoots issues with malfunctioning equipment to minimize downtime.
• Adheres to organizational policies and procedures, including HIPAA and infection prevention standards.

Requirements

• 2 years of driving experience.
• Ability to lift and carry packages as needed.
• Knowledge of patient care equipment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good time management skills.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Pay

$18.54 - $24.68 hourly.
