Courier Driver Sheboygan

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The Courier Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of documents, packages, and other materials between locations. This role requires strong time management skills, excellent customer service, and a commitment to safety while driving.

• Delivers clinic material, picks up supplies and mail, and distributes to appropriate destinations.
• Picks up and delivers errands for the clinic as requested.
• Executes the delivery routes to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Handles all lab samples and medications in a safe and efficient manner while protecting critical health information.
• Loads and unloads daily supply items with care, ensuring proper handling.
• Verifies delivery information, including addresses, recipient details, and special instructions.
• Makes daily contact with supervisor to discuss special needs, problems, and assignments.
• Safely operates a company vehicle and obeys all traffic laws.
• Ensures proper maintenance of courier vehicle.
• Evaluates traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions daily.

Qualifications

High School Diploma and/or GED Required

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of transportation routes within the community.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instruction.
• Skilled in manual and finger dexterity.
• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with staff and the public.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow instruction.
• Ability to maintain professional conduct and appearance at all times.
