Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Non-covered safety-sensitive position
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions per FMCSA enforcement guidance
Skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Neat appearance (customer contact required)
Schedule
Monday through Saturday, 7am–4pm
