Driver / Operator of Company Vehicles

Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Hours

• Monday - Saturday
• Day off during the week
• Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Licensed for type of vehicle assigned
• Meets qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
• Must meet FMCSA or FAA regulations for medical exam

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Neat appearance since customer contact is required
• Reads and speaks English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance

Pay

$22.11/hr.
