Courier/DOT-1
Responsibilities
Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages.
Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED.
- Licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Neat appearance due to customer contact.
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
- Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
- Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
- Medical exam required.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions.

Additional Details: Full-Time 4 x 10 Wednesday through SDR 0830-1830. The desired location for this position would be Ann Arbor, MI. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.

Pay: $20.22 - $22.25 / hour
