Courier Controller

About the role:

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Courier Controller to join our team to provide a high quality, proactive and professional Courier Controlling service for The Doctors Laboratory. You are expected to provide a high quality, proactive and professional Courier Controlling service for The Doctors Laboratory. The role involves the controlling of The Doctors Laboratory Courier fleet to meet the needs of our clients efficiently and to a high service level, to process paperwork accurately and efficiently, to ensure all duties are carried out in line with standards defined by Clinical Pathology Accreditation (UK) ltd and any other regulatory body defined by the company.

You will be assisting the Courier Manager in the day to day operation of the department and the induction and training of new couriers. The position will also involve carrying out duties in line with the 'Courier Procedures Manual'.

• Experience of working within the courier field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• A good standard of IT skills

To be considered for this role you must have Controller/Logistics experience and work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
