About the role

Sentara Health is currently seeking a Part Time, rotating shift, Courier based out of Sentara Park in Virginia Beach, VA. Picks up and delivers various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages. Required to operate vehicle safely, keeps vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner. Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials, and packages
• Operate vehicle safely
• Keep vehicle clean and well maintained
• Maintain vehicle safety logs
• Submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner
• Track lab specimens, reports, supplies, and all barcoded items

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• No prior experience required; 1 year of courier experience may substitute for the education requirement

Pay

Base pay range: $18.70 – $27.19 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, on‑call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra‑shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
