Incumbent is responsible for transporting specimens, documents, and other important medical products from location to location to keep the entire healthcare system moving smoothly. Will remain free of traffic violations and must have a driver's license at all times. This is an independent contractor position (1099-NEC).
Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, documents, and products between locations
- Maintain a valid, unencumbered driver’s license
- Adapt to a flexible work schedule based on transportation needs across facilities
- Perform other position-related duties as requested
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid, unencumbered state driver’s license
- Completion of an approved Activity Course by the State of Mississippi (preferred)
- Demonstrates appropriate interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, and listening)
- Resilient and flexible in a continually changing, stressful work environment

Pay
$0.76 per mile (per IRS guidelines).
